VCT Americas reveals 2024 groups and brackets

Now that February is here, VALORANT esports is back for 2024 and VCT Americas has released all the details on its upcoming season. The action will begin on February 16 for the inaugural Kickoff, which boasts two spots at Champions Madrid and Championship Points as prizes for the top teams.

There are 11 teams participating in the VCT Americas league this year. These squads were split into pools and drawn into three groups.

Each group will compete in a double-elimination bracket, with the winners of each group advancing to the main event playoff stage.

The second place team from each group will advance to the play-in stage of the tournament. During the play-in, the three second place teams will compete in a round robin format, with only one advancing to the playoffs.

The last four teams standing will face-off in a single-elimination bracket during the playoff stage, with the play-in winners seeded on the opposite side of the bracket from the other team from their original group. Whoever wins the whole Kickoff event will automatically qualify for Masters Madrid and will have preferential seeding at this event. They will also earn three Championship Points to put towards Champions 2024 qualification.
