LGBTQ Video Games Coming Out in 2024

2023 was certainly a year full of great games, particularly for LGBTQ+ gamers. As years go by, it becomes more and more apparent that game developers are actively seeking to tell inclusive, queer stories. So you won’t be surprised to hear that. To keep up with that demand, we’ve got another list of all of the LGBTQ video games coming out in 2024.

Since 2021 we’ve tried to highlight as many queer games as possible that are being released around the globe. While a lot of our focus is indeed on indies and PC games, we’ve also made sure to include platforms like the Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox, and of course, mobile. Gayming Magazine has a small team, so what we do isn’t exactly easy and is certainly time-consuming. However, speaking as EIC of this wonderful website, I’m proud to say that this list exists and will continue to thrive as long as queer gamers are still looking for queer games.

More importantly, the huge audience we receive looking at this list confirms something that we’d always known: queer video games and the people behind them aren’t just things we need, but are desired as well.

Before diving right into the list, we should state that this isn’t a completed list by any means, nor is it a list that will always have ‘positive’ representation because, to be frank, we don’t have the time to play every single game on it. Moreover, we will more than likely have even missed a few games out.

These LGBTQ games coming out in 2024 will be categorized by month of release, or if a date hasn’t been issued, will be under the category TBD. If any game included in the list is delayed and/or cancelled, we will also update this list to show that.
