REKA hits early access in 2024
As someone who is always on the cusp of quitting everything and going out to live out my sapphic cottagecore dreams in the middle of nowhere, REKA from Fireshine Games and Emberstorm Entertainment has always intrigued me.
In this gothic, witchy cottage-building adventure, players take on the role of a Slavic witch who travels the country alongside her magical walking cottage. For those who are into their Baba Yaga huts, you’ll know exactly what to take away from this feature in REKA.
If this sounds like a game for you, you’ll be pleased to know that Fireshine Games and Emberstorn Entertainment have announced that the third-person adventure game will launch into Steam Early Access in Q2 2024.
Alongside creating a witch hut that’ll suit your needs, you’ll be able to explore the landscape and discover souvenirs that can be used to upgrade and fill out your hut in meaningful ways.
What I enjoyed about the look of REKA was how perfect it was for those who want to embrace their creative side, whether through their chicken-legged home or the unique spirits and nature they’ll spot along the way.
REKA will launch on Steam Early Access in 2024.
