Witchy Life Story hits Switch and Xbox in October
On Tuesday, Sundew Studios announced that its most recent project, Witchy Life Story, will release on Nintendo Switch and Xbox on October 19. The game first launched for PC in 2022, but now players on consoles will be able to enjoy it as well!
Witchy Life Story follows the first two chaotic weeks of a young witch’s start as the local village witch. Your character comes from an illustrious magical family, but your training hasn’t quite gone to plan. This is their last chance to prove they have what it takes to become a full-fledged witch, otherwise their training will be cancelled. Players are able to customize their witch with the game’s character creator, which includes several options for skin tone, body type, and pronouns. As the residents of Flora prepare for their annual harvest festival, your character will have to help them with their various projects and quests.
These will mostly entail requests for rituals and potions, which you can make using the flowers and herbs you grow in your garden. As you build up your relationship with your clients, you can unlock other witchy skills, like tarot card reading and guided mediations. Building your relationships with the villagers could also potentially lead to romance, as three of these characters are romanceable. If you play your cards right, you might just end up with a date for the harvest festival.
Beyond your character, you can also customize your house and altar to fit your witch’s vibe. As you go about your life in Flora and help people out, you will collect different flowers, potions, and crystals you can decorate with.
Players will be able to check out Witchy Life Story on Xbox and Nintendo Switch on October 19.
