Stardew Valley creator teases new festival, items and more for 1.6 update

Stardew Valley is one of the more unique games of its time, with a seemingly never-ending sleuth of new features and content coming with each and every update, which includes the upcoming 1.6 changes.

With so many changes on the way from ConcernedApe, the farming sim’s dedicated creator, it wouldn’t be at all wrong to feel as though the game has a life of its own. After all, with each new update, the game just gets bigger and bigger. Its last update was its biggest yet, adding 9 music tracks, maneuverability for items such as your bed and chairs, new characters and events, a bunch of new furniture items, and more quests and cosmetics. No matter what you look for in Stardew Valley, the 1.5 update brought something new to your game.

But what about Stardew Valley’s 1.6 update? Here’s what ConcernedApe mentioned on Twitter is coming up.

Items, secrets and new dialogue is always appreciated in a game where exploration is so aptly rewarded, but a whole new festival event will add a whole other thing for both new and returning players. What it could be, however, remains to be seen.
