You can change your outfit in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, but it may take a bit of time to have more than one or two options. The only person in town who sells new clothes is Van, the travelling merchant. He visits the town square of Forgotten Valley twice a season, on the third and eighth day. If you miss him you will have to wait until he returns to browse his wares and choose a new look. That said, it takes a little while for Van to start stocking clothes in his inventory, so make sure to keep checking back with him if you don’t find new options right away.
Van’s clothing offerings will vary depending on the season, with one new outfit for each season. Once you purchase a clothing set, you can navigate to it in your inventory and put it on. These clothes don’t have any practical effects, but they do let you dress appropriately for the weather. Change them out whenever you feel like doing something different, or when a new season rolls around if you so choose.
