Gayming LIVE, the world’s biggest LGBTQ gaming & geek convention, returns this Fall!
Gayming LIVE broke records in 2022 by becoming the world’s biggest LGBTQ gaming and geek convention. Now it’s back for 2023 this October (6-8th) with presenting partner Healthysexual from Gilead Sciences and featuring three days of free-to-access streaming and other exciting activations.
With a blend of big-name talent, gameplay streams, panel talks, drag performances, celebrity guests, and more, the Gayming LIVE Main Stage will be the place to be as the weekend unfolds. Get ready for exclusive reveals, big surprises, and some awesome prizes to be won too!
The beloved Community Zone is set to once again act as the central hub for community discussions. Applications are now open for panel talk submissions to be held throughout the weekend on this stage, and community groups from around the world are invited to apply and contribute to this super positive experience. Gayming LIVE’s Indie Zone also makes a return and features a two-week Steam Festival, which this year will be free to apply to by indie developers. Featuring some new rules for inclusion and a committee of judges making the final cut, this year’s Indie Zone promises to be more diverse and inclusive of all LGBTQ+ indies. New for 2023, Gayming LIVE will hold a series of WerkShops throughout the convention. WerkShops will be free to sign up for and will allow for longer, deeper dives on topics that people can learn from. From finding jobs in the games industry and resume polishing, to cosplay tips, to comic drawing, there will be something for everyone in these WerkShops, all of which will be led by experienced professionals.
Also debuting in 2023, Gayming LIVE Locals will see small-scale local events take place in key cities around the world across the weekend that will bring the magic of Gayming LIVE to life for gaymers and geeks globally! These will be delivered in partnership with partner gaymer groups in the chosen cities, who are skilled at delivering what their community wants!
I’m so excited to be bringing Gayming LIVE back this year after the runaway success of 2022. We reached over 1.6 million people last year and this year we’re aiming to double that! Holding a virtual convention ensures that everyone around the world can enjoy Gayming content in a fully accessible and safe way.
