Dead by Daylight’s Hooked On You game doesn’t have a sequel planned

According to the team over at Dead by Daylight, a sequel for Hooked on You isn’t in the works. At least, not right now.

The Dead by Daylight anniversary has started with a bang, bringing new and exciting updates for those who spend their days chasing and slaying in the Fog. There’s been an announcement of not one, but two new games set in the Dead by Daylight universe, the first being a narrative-focused game from Supermassive Games (developers of The Quarry and Until Dawn) and the second a PvE game from Midwinter Entertainment.

However, for fans looking forward to a potential sequel to Hooked on You, you’ll only face disappointment. During a press conference that revealed all of the latest news on what’s coming to the world of Dead by Daylight, we asked how well the spin-off dating game was received, and whether the team was actively working on a sequel.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. That doesn’t mean the game wasn’t well-received, however. Developed by Psyop, the creators behind the wildly popular KFC Dating Simulator, Hooked on You thrust players into a new, sexy world of Murderer’s Island where their favourite Killers (as well as Claudette and Dwight) hang out. The goal: to seduce them and make them yours. Otherwise… You’ll end up being murdered horrifically. Those are the breaks, we guess.

Yet, that doesn’t mean Hooked on You fans will be completely without some new stuff to look forward to. During the press conference, it was teased that the game could be coming to consoles. When, however, remains to be seen.
