Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical event teases new insights and information
Summerfall Studios and Humble Games have announced an upcoming live-streamed event, Myth and Music: An Evening with Stray Gods, for the upcoming RPG, Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical.
The event is set to premiere on April 12 at 7pm PM/April 13 at 1pm AET/ April 13 at 3AM BST. Jesse Cox will host on his Twitch channel, and viewers can expect some spectacular musical performances from the Stray Gods cast, such as Laura Bailey, Troy Baker, and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. They’ll be joined by yet unannounced cast members.
Originally titled Chorus, Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical is an urban fantasy tale that follows protagonist Grace (Laura Bailey) who is granted the power of a Muse. Unfortunately, she’s only granted said power after her predecessor’s death, which thrusts her into the hidden world of mythic Greek gods and monsters.
Along the way, she’ll meet a variety of different people, some of who she can even get closer to (as lovers or as friends) throughout the story. Whether they are mortal or immortal, Grace has her fair share of options and yes, there is LGBTQ+ inclusivity to look forward to, as well.
Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical is big on player choice in ways outside of love interests too. No matter which path you take, whether you’re charming, a badass, or ah, the negotiator, each choice will come with its original and fully interactive musical number. A video game for musical lovers, and a musical for video game fans.
Players interested in the event can sign up for more information on where and how to watch.
