League of Legends K’Sante comes with Lil Nas X collab skin
It was only last week that we got a sneak peak of the legendary K’Sante, a new hero coming to League of Legends.
However, thanks to a new trailer and patch notes from Riot Games, we now know a little more about K’Sante such as his background, as well as a look at his awesome prestige skin from gay icon and award-winning musician, Lil Nas X.
Described as “defiant and courageous”, K’Sante is a mighty warrior who wields weapons forged from an apex predator he once slayed. He is the hero of his people, who look to him whenever things are dire, and who believe that he fights in their name. They aren’t wrong either, because K’Sante appears to take his role as guardian very seriously.
K’Sante has fought many beasts and Ascended to protect his home, yet due to a falling out with his former partner he begins to realize that to be a proper hero, he needs to move away from his single-minded thoughts of success and pride.
When K’Sante arrives to League of Legends in patch 12.21, he’ll be bringing a few surprises. One big surprise is a prestige skin from President of League of Legends, Lil Nas X.
Lil Nas X co-designed in collaboration with Riot Games the Prestige Edition of K’Sante’s launch skin, aptly titled as Empyrean K’Sante. The skin debuts today on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) alongside K’Sante himself. The skin will be released on November 3 worldwide, and will be unlockable until November 14.
The way to earn the skin is through playing League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics games during the Worlds 2022 in-game event. Doing so will earn you currency, and players will need to work hard to earn 2,000 Worlds 2022 tokens to unlock the skin.
