All teams qualified for the NA VCT Game Changers Series III Main Event

Series III of the North American Valorant Game Changers (VCT) circuit is underway, with the main event kicking off later this week. Over the weekend, teams battled it out in an open qualifier to see who would secure one of the eight places in the main tournament this week. The teams that made it are competing for more than just the third NA VCT Game Changers trophy of the year, but also for a chance to qualify for the Game Changers Championships in Berlin, Germany later this year. The winner of this event will take one spot, and the other will go to the NA team with the most Game Changers circuit points.

All teams qualified for the NA VCT Game Changers Series III Main Event

North American VCT Game Changers has recently had a stint of unsigned teams playing very well. The last event saw two unsigned squads, Dart Monkeys and Arianna Grande Perfume, qualify for the main event. Unfortunately for these squads, things didn’t shake out quite the same way this time. For the Series III Main Event, only signed teams qualified this time around.

  • Cloud9 White
  • Misfits Black
  • Complexity GX3
  • TSM X
  • Evil Geniuses GC
  • Immortals
  • XSET Purple
  • Shopify Rebellion GC

These eight teams will compete in a double elimination bracket leading into a grand final to determine which team is currently on top of North America. The winner will also secure one of North America’s two spots in the Game Changers Championships. Whoever has the highest circuit points after Series III has wrapped up will take the second slot to represent North America in the first-ever LAN event for Game Changers.

All eyes will likely be on Cloud9 White and Shopify Rebellion, the two teams that have consistently been vying for the top spot in NA. Cloud9 White are the absolute titans of the region, but both Misfits Black and Shopify have been able to prove that they can still bleed. With Guild X finally knocking G2 Gozen off the EMEA Game Changers throne, who knows what upsets may be in store for the final NA series of the year.
