Two Point Campus unveils free Pride Pack DLC
SEGA has announced the first two DLC packs for its school-orientated video game, Two Point Campus – with one pack focusing on everything to do with Pride.
Two Point Campus is a management simulator where players are able to take the reins and create their very own university. Instead of focusing on making sure your patients and hospital is thriving, players will have to keep an eye on the many students that come on campus. And with each student being pretty unique? Things are bound to get messy.
Considering that there is a number of different students for you to encounter, it makes sense that the Two Point Campus Pride Pack will give you the tools to make your student’s dormitories a little different… A little more, shall we say, prideful?
The DLC pack will allow you to add new cosmetic items, such as wall decorations, curtains, rugs, and even bed sheets. It will be available for free, and will always remain free.
“For most young people, college or university is the place to make new friends or fall in love for the very first time,” SEGA stated in their announcement. “This is no different in Two Point Campus, where Relationships are an important new feature of the game, as you guide and nurture your students through their university experience.
“Two Point Studios believes in ‘love is love’, which means that in Two Point Campus any student can
form a romantic relationship with any other student. In supporting all your students’ social needs, you
can watch friendships form and romance blossom with whomever your students choose, creating a
happy and harmonious campus for all to enjoy.”
Alongside this announcement, SEGA Pride (SEGA’s internal employee resource group) is fundraising for the UK-based charity Mermaids. SEGA Pride has partnered with 50 streamers from around the world on
a voluntary basis, to raise awareness and funds for transgender and nonbinary people. SEGA and its group of streamers have together already raised over £16,000.
On Tuesday 28 June at 7:00 PM BST, SEGA Pride members will stream Two Point Campus for the very first time. You can watch the livestream on the SEGA Twitch channel and donate to the fundraising campaign here.
Two Point Campus, and its two DLC packs, will release on August 9 2022 for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
