My Time at Sandrock early access date revealed
The early access for My Time at Sandrock, the sequel to farm and life simulator My Time at Portia’s, has been revealed.
Much like the previous game, My Time at Sandrock focuses on the player character travelling to another community and taking on the role of a creator – in this case, a fledgling builder. There they will meet a whole new cast of characters who are part of the community and have their own unique personalities, as well as work in gathering resources, construction work, and turning the run-down workshop into a well-oiled machine. Why? Because it’s up to you to save the town from running itself into the mud!
The date for early access of My Time at Sandrock was revealed via an update on the game’s Steam page. Beta and early access players will be able to purchase “their game keys for good” and don’t need to purchase the game again when it releases in full. Players will not have to do anything else, and the game will continue to update on the day of the official release.
During the early access stage of My Time at Sandrock, the developers will be implementing story quests for NPCs, fleshing out the world of Sandrock, generally polishing the game, and finishing the main questline – all while improving art assets, voiceovers and music. They will also be testing the multiplayer mode that they plan to incorporate into the game.
The previous My Time game was a big hit with LGBTQ+ fans of the sandbox and adventure genre, as it offered more than a few same-sex romance options, as well as adoption for queer players who wanted to experience the joy of children. Some players have even compared the series to ConcernedApe’s well-loved indie, Stardew Valley.
My Time at Sandrock will release into early access on May 26th for Steam and Epic Games at $24.99. The price will increase once the game leaves early access.
