Elden Ring Steam foot guide is quite the feet
There’s nothing about Elden Ring that could surprise me anymore, so when a dear friend linked me to the Steam guide that had taken the utmost care to photograph all of the feet of every single NPC with their toes exposed I barely looked up from my work.
That was, of course, before I truly appreciated just how many characters Steam user Mister B had met along their journey of feet in The Lands Between. There has to be over 30+ different pairs of feet, starting at Fia’s feet and ending at Goblin’s feet, which to be honest seem to be the feet of the player character of Elden Ring, but green.
Oh well, foot fetishists can’t all be perfect and accurate, can they?
Steam guides are usually used by players to help others if they get stuck. For example, a guide on how to stop Margit from beating you into next week by finding a certain weapon, or something typical to that. However, in Mister B’s case, this guide is useful for… uh, certain people on the internet who you probably wouldn’t take home to your mother. Maybe.
Regardless, the Steam guide hasn’t exactly been a miss. Currently, there have been over 14,000 unique visitors to the page, and it’s favourited by 500+ people – clearly there’s something to love about this guide, which is quite the feat considering it’s all about, y’know, feet.
Feet puns aside, Mister B’s guide doesn’t discriminate in showing you what toes you can find in Elden Ring. It doesn’t matter if you’re a bird with knives for legs and toes, or a giant bat with curled, pointed nails… Your feet matter and now they are in a very comprehensive guide on the internet. Your welcome.
In an email to Kotaku, Mister B explains that they didn’t think that their Elden Ring feet guide would be such a huge hit. “I’ve completed the game after all so this kinda keeps me busy playing the game…even though I’m taking pics of feet. Every now and then while invading or co-op I come across an enemy or something that I missed.”
Mister B also confirmed that while they are indeed taking a lot of pictures of feet, they are not a foot fetishist. It’s funny how things will spiral from a joke to something like a Steam guide having over 30+ different pairs of feet from Elden Ring. And counting.
