Do you want to smell like Sonic the Hedgehog?
‘Speed has never smelled so good’ is what I’d probably give the tagline for the new Sonic the Hedgehog cologne, but unfortunately – or fortunately – I don’t work for SEGA.
Speaking of SEGA, SEGA Shop Europe has just revealed three new bottles of cologne, exclusive to the European store and countries. The first is that of Shenmue, the second is Yakuza, and last but not least, the scent of Sonic the Hedgehog makes up the third, very blue bottle.
The cologne (crafted via Numskull Designs) is unisex, meaning that it doesn’t matter whether you’re a gal or guy (or neither), you’ll be able to dab this fine scent all over and smell like the slick speedster himself. Or, smell like a scent that Sonic has approved himself. Thanks for clarifying that, SEGA.
But what does this luxurious scent smell like? According to the description, Sonic’s scent offers wearers “an aroma of fresh citrus, a zing of grapefruit zest and exotic lemon and lime, topped with the scene of the ocean breeze and chilled melon fade”. Sounds about as pure and clean as we feel after stepping out of a bubble bath.
The cologne also promises a blend of suede, leather, and cedar… Quite the combination of scents and yet it perfectly describes what we’d expect Sonic to smell like, right? After he has had a shower of course – running that fast probably gets you super sweaty.
