Dead by Daylight arrives on Epic Games Store in December
Dead by Daylight might not have made too much of a splash back when it was first released in 2016, but now it’s available to purchase on nearly every online retailer – and come December, that will include the Epic Games Store.
The Epic Games Store has had its fair share of controversy when it was revealed in 2019, whether it makes sense or not, but that hasn’t prevented it from being a successful online retailer, and now with Dead by Daylight available to purchase there, horror fans are going to be in for a real treat.
An exact date hasn’t been given for when Dead by Daylight will be appearing on the store, but it has been announced via press release that it should be sometime in December. With that in mind, players should expect all available Dead by Daylight content – including the controversial Hellraiser chapter that helped lead to the creation of Pinhead NFTs, of all things – to be made accessible at launch. This will, of course, include the base game, as well as past editions and all available DLC at the moment of release.
More importantly, fans of the asymmetrical horror game will be happy to know that with the Epic Games Store, they will be able to play cross-platform. And not just that, there will also be cross-platform progression between Steam, Stadia, and Epic via their Behaviour account.
