Boston Gaymers 24 hour charity stream raising money for BAGLY
Boston Gaymers has announced a charity event which will feature 24 hours of gaming and holiday cheer while raising money for LGBTQIA+ youth in Boston. Boston Gaymers are working with BAGLY to support their women and marginalized gender programs, which include safe social events for transgender women and trans-femme identified people, as well as mental health programs and direct aid.
The event will feature a variety of streamers from Boston Gaymers playing games ranging from Among Us, Metroid Dread, Genshin Impact, and Path of Exile all the way to some nostalgia from Thief 2. Streamers will be offering unique incentives such as eating any flavored beans, playing music, or drinking ketchup!
The team are aiming to raise $5,000 for BAGLY, but they would love to exceed their previous high of $5,800 from their pride month charity stream this year.
Boston Gaymers has now raised $20,000 for local charities over the past 3 years and we are so proud that we are able to give back to the community and support local programs that make a huge difference in people’s lives. We chose BAGLY because we recognize the importance and impact of BAGLY’s mission. Raising money for BAGLY means raising money to support LGBT+ youth here in Boston to thrive, and help find the next generation of leaders to fight for LGBT+ rights.
