The Sims 4 is hosting a Simlish concert with popular artists getting involved

There are some things that you just don’t expect when it comes to The Sims, and well, The Sims 4 hosting a Simlish concert is just one of those things.

This news comes from PC Games Insider, who states that Electronic Arts, The Sims publisher, has announced that The Sims 4 is going to be the latest game to hold virtual concerts in-game as a part of Sims Sessions. Fans of Fortnite will remember that there have been a variety of different stunts (including the release of a teaser of films like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) included inside the game’s world to not only promote something new but to add more things to do for players, as well. And for the most part, this inclusion has been well-received amongst fans.

So much so that it’s no surprise that The Sims 4 and it’s Simlish concert have gone all out in getting popular music artists involved. That’s right, expect to see songs from Glass Animals Dave Bayley, singer-songwriter Jay Oladokun, as well as Grammy-nominated pop star, Bebe Rexha. Rexha is known for her songs like In The Name of Love, Meant To Be and Say My Name. You can check out the full line-up here.

Bebe Rexha in particular has spoken out in support of the concert. “I’ve always been a fan of how The Sims empowers players to express their creativity with others in the game.” They continued, “Sims Sessions will be a fun experience for fans from around the world to enjoy music and hang with friends in a way that only The Sims can offer. I’m so excited to return to the game and also can’t wait to see the fans posting their Simlish videos of Sabotage.”

The Sims 4 Simlish concert event will take place between June 29th at 10 a.m. PT and July 7th to 10 p.m. PT.
