Life is Strange: Wavelengths is a DLC focused on Steph

Ever wanted to play as the super cute lesbian, Steph from Life is Strange: Before the Storm? Well, you’re in luck, because you can do just that in Life is Strange: Wavelengths.

There is a lot of Life is Strange news right now, but you know what? We’re all for it! Life is Strange: True Colors was revealed via the Square Enix digital show yesterday, and it was later announced it would be receiving a Deluxe Edition, as well as an Ultimate Edition.

The Deluxe Edition will have players upgrading to get a variety of in-game cosmetics called the Life is Strange Hero Outfit Pack. This will change Alex’s look, giving her the option of wearing clothing inspired by ‘Chloe’s Misfit Skull, Sean’s Wolf Squad, Daniel’s Space Mission, and Max’s Jane Doe outfits, with one outfit available for Alex to wear in each chapter of the main game.’

But, more importantly, it will give players a bonus episode to play – Life is Strange: Wavelengths. In this bonus episode, players will take the role of Steph, who players will recognize as the nerdy, D&D-orientated lesbian who Chloe can befriend during her time at Arcadia Bay. She also had a huge crush on Rachel Amber, but let’s be honest, who doesn’t have a crush on Rachel Amber?

For this episode though, players will get to take a step in the life of Steph. You’ll be rolling some 20s as GM for a group of friends, take over as the all-new radio show host for the folks over in Haven, and even swipe left or right on Steph’s dating options.

There’s a lot that we have yet to know about Steph, but even her first appearance in Life is Strange: Before the Storm has solidified her as a fan-favourite among fans. We can’t wait to find out more.

Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition will also include the bonus episode with Steph, as well as the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection – a collection of both Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
