Representation in video games isn’t just important for players, but for people who are looking to get into the games industry too. This is where Industry Gayming comes in – a website dedicated to helping and informing LGBTQ+ professionals.
This new website comes after the huge global success of Gayming Magazine, and we hope that Industry Gayming will follow suit – becoming the magazine of choice for LGBTQ video game professionals around the world.
At Industry Gayming, we’ll not only be looking for ways to help you create the perfect portfolio, or give you tips on how to work best from home, but spotlight LGBTQ+ professionals within the industry and highlight their stories on how they got to where they are now.
We’ll also broaden your horizons, giving you hot-off-the-press features about what it means to be LGBTQ+ within the industry and which companies go the extra mile to make you feel included and involved in the workplace. A happy workplace means a happy you!
But it isn’t just hints and tips – we’ll also be pointing you in the right direction when it comes to jobs and events too. We even have a Job Board – though that’s still a work in progress right now – thanks to our partnership with award-winning recruitment agency Aardvark Swift. With the board, you’ll be able to see numerous opportunities from across the world.
As for events, we’ll keep those regularly updated, too. There’s nothing quite as frustrating as missing out on an important event because you hadn’t heard about it, so we’re going to go the extra mile by keeping you informed.
