LGBT Game Monster Prom Gets A Limited Collector’s Edition this October
Girls, boys – what does it matter when all we really want is to smooch all the monsters? That’s why we love Monster Prom, an LGBT friendly game set in high school, where you and your friends can both play in order to woo the monster of your heart.
In Monster Prom you’re encouraged to play as your WORST self. After all, if you choose to play competitively and you and your friend have your eye on the same person… well, things can get gnarly and considering you only have so much time to get a date to Prom. May the best monster lover win.
Monster Prom is great for LGBT players too, as the monsters you choose to pursue are down to clown with whatever romantic shenanigans you throw their way. It doesn’t matter who you are!
With such a fun game available to play already on multiple platforms, why should you go out of your way to check out Super Rare’s Collector’s Edition? The correct question is, why wouldn’t you?
Super Rare Games have teamed up with Beautiful Glitch and Those Awesome Guys to release the very first physical version of Monster Prom on the Nintendo Switch, yes, but it’s more than that. They create a fun, innovative physical edition of each game they make, and include some fantastic goodies too.
Here are just some of the amazing things that you can expect in the Monster Prom Collector’s Edition:
- SteelBook case
- 68 page full-colour hardback yearbook with tons of artwork and stickers
- Temporary tattoo
- Collector’s pin badge
- 10 physical instant camera photos
- Collectible driving license
- High school diploma
- Complete set of trading cards
- Sticker
- Collector’s box
Of course, you can just purchase the Standard and/or Steelbox version of Monster Prom on the Nintendo Switch at a lower cost – but let’s be honest, where’s the fun in that?
You can head on over to the Super Rare Games store right now to have a look at which Monster Prom edition you want to add to your collection. All versions go on sale on Thursday, October 29th at 6:00pm GMT (11am PT/2pm ET) for approximately £27 for the Standard Edition or £75 for the Collector’s Edition. This excludes all tax and shipping.
