If Found arrives on Nintendo Switch this October
If Found, a narrative-driven game about a young queer woman going home, coming out, and erasing everything of the past, is set to come out this October 22nd.
The game is an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish, taking you on the journey of Kasio, a queer transwoman and her struggles with her family, friends and the town’s reaction to her revealing who she truly is. It’s phenomenal, and you should definitely read our review of the game to find out just what makes this game so special.
Based in Ireland, If Found combines the slang and history of Ireland with a queer narrative that touches your heart. It doesn’t just explore being a queer transwoman, however, but isolation, loneliness, and the importance of connection in a society that still doesn’t truly understand you.
The Switch version of If Found will include some changes such as never before seen artwork from illustrator Liadh Young, extended narrative sequences, and a bonus chapter with interactive epilogues to discover the futures of every unique character. That’s not all. Dreamfeel also worked with Irish and Sierra Leonean musician Loah and composer 2mello to produce a new song for the game, with lyrics from If Found‘s director and co-writer, Llaura McGee. That means yes, if you want If Found, then the Switch version seems to be the one to get. After all, who can pass up on all those goodies?
If Found on the Nintendo Switch will be available for $12.99 on October 22nd. Don’t miss out on the game of a lifetime! In the meantime, check out the new song from Loah & 2 Mello, below.
