The Mass Effect Remaster might not come to the Nintendo Switch after all
One of the most appealing things about a Mass Effect remaster is the possibility that, if it came to the Nintendo Switch, you could play the game wherever you want. Imagine that – getting to kiss Kaidan Alenko whenever and wherever you want. Only, the Mass Effect remaster may not come to the Nintendo Switch at all.
As first reported by VentureBeat reporter, Jeff Grubb on the Xbox Expansion Pass podcast on Monday, the sci-fi RPG will be called ‘The Legendary Edition’. And, according to a separate video from the journalist, it won’t be coming to Nintendo Switch.
“EA has multiple games coming to Nintendo Switch and Mass Effect is definitely not one of them,” Grubb said (via VGC). The journalist also mentioned that if the trilogy was to come on the Switch, it wouldn’t be happening anytime soon.
Grubb has previously stated that the Mass Effect remaster will release in October this year, but with the on-going coronavirus pandemic, that could change.
Considering that placeholders for the trilogy recently leaked again, and it included a Switch version, we ask that you take this information with a pinch of salt. After all, if there’s one thing BioWare’s massively successful trilogy has taught us, there’s always hope. And that’s the one thing we’ll need if we want our future of smooching alien boys and gals to be on the go.
Good, it would probably hold it back anyway..
I hope ME Remaster is good, with some fixes and tweaks like being able to romance Kaidan as male Shep just like in ME3!
