The Goldbergs: Back to the 80’s brings nostalgia and cool kid comedy to Android and iOS

Hit sitcom The Goldbergs has become the latest television show to receive its own video game. The Goldbergs: Back to the 80’s has arrived on Android and iOS courtesy of East Side Games Studio and Sony.

Help the youngest members of the Golderberg family – Adam, Barry and Erica – get to the top of their school’s Cool List and become (gasp) the most popular kids in school! This idle, tap-game allows you to collect cool points, make friends and navigate the narrative by clicking away at your phone screen. Collect new characters, level them up with cool 80’s themed items and use them to ward off your meddling mother, Beverly.

Due to enter its eighth season this year, The Goldbergs averages over 5.5 million viewers per episode and stars Jeff Garlin, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Sean Giambrone, Troy Gentile, Hayley Orrantia, George Segal, AJ Michalka and Sam Lerner.

The Goldbergs has featured a gay character, Dan Morse, since the show’s second season.
