Here are the best selling video games of July 2020

Although hardware sales were down a whopping 2% in last month, July 2020 is still shaping up as a landmark year for video game sales. Android Central reports that sales are up 32% when compared to July 2019, and total spending for the month of July 2020 totals just over $3.6 billion.

According to VentureBeat, the best selling video games of July 2020 are:

1. Ghost of Tsushima
2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
3. Paper Mario: The Origami King
4. The Last of Us Part 2
5. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
6. Ring Fit Adventure
7. Mortal Kombat 11
8. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
9. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
10. Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris

Interestingly, just outside the top 10, you’ll find Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Marvel’s Spider-Man. Because those games just refuse to die.
