D&D campaign Curse of Strahd is being re-vamped in time for Halloween

It’s only 4 more months until the year is finally over, and God, we’re happy to hear that. However, there is something that’s going to make the next few months bearable: a revamped, premium edition of the Dungeons and Dragons campaign, Curse of Strahd.

According to PC Gamer, this new edition will be ready just in time for Halloween. Curse of Strahd is an incredibly popular Dungeons and Dragons campaign, winning Best Adventure, Art, and Product of the Year at the 2016 ENnie Awards. It’s no doubt that this popularity has ushered Wizards of the Coast forward to rerelease the adventure. Well, that and the poor, racist presentation of the Vastani people in the original adventure.

In this new premium edition of the adventure, players can expect the following goodies: a deck of Tarokka cards, a 20-page booklet that describes the adventure’s monsters, 12 postcards of the region of Barovia – the main location of the adventure, a double-sided poster map, and a DM’s screen. All of it will be packed in a coffin-shaped box because, y’know, vampires and all that.

You can purchase the premium edition of Curse of Strahd on Amazon, where the adventure, and all of the items that come with it, will be released on October 20th.
