Bring pen and paper to life in Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition

When you hear pen and paper RPGs, you’d be forgiven for just thinking about Dungeons and Dragons. But trust us when we say there are more P&P RPGs out there, and if you’re a fan, then we know for a fact that you’ll love Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker originally released on the PC in 2018 after a very successful Kickstarter campaign the previous year. It got a fairly middling amount of reception, with IGN giving it a 6.8/10, and PC Gamer a 68%. Not terrible, but not the best. However, looking at recent reviews, it seems to have grown on a lot of cRPG players.

It probably didn’t help that the game was only released on PC, meaning console players got shafted. Yet, with the new Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition released today on Xbox and PS4, console gamers will finally get the chance to find out what makes this game so special.

The new Definitive Edition comes with all of the DLC, as well as a new turn-based mode that will make combat easier to handle.

If you’re a fan of Paizo’s Pathfinder franchise and want to give it a go on console, check out the trailer below and see if this is the perfect game for you to scratch that role playing itch.
