Baldur’s Gate 3 Early Access will release September 30th

Baldur’s Gate 3 early access date was originally revealed to be released sometime in this month, August. It was pushed back, but thanks to the Baldur’s Gate 3 panel today, we’re happy to announce that September 30th is the finalized date for the early access of Larian Studio’s new game.

A sequel to the tabletop RPG game from Wizards of the Coast, Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus, Baldur’s Gate 3 gives you the option to play as a custom character, or one of the companions that you can be joined by in the game. You’ve been through the wars and after being kidnapped by mind flayers, have a tadpole stuck in your head. This tadpole gives you some strange powers, but if you use them too much, has the risk of turning you into a mind flayer.

In the Panel From Hell, a lot of new things were revealed: the fact that you’re going to start in Hell, that there’ll be 20 hours of content in early access, you’ll be restricted to level 4 and yes, you can use a familiar to travel the world if you’d like to. Also, there will be kissing. Lots and lots of kissing. Pucker up, Lae’zel.

More importantly, we know that players will be able to get their hands on the early access of Baldur’s Gate 3 on September 30th. To find out more information, check out the full panel below.
