Start your month off right with Midboss’ Summer of Pride 2020

DIGIPRIDE 2020 isn’t the only thing that should be on your radar this year. MidBoss have just kicked off their second, Summer of Pride 2020, an event where LGBT+ games, charities, streamers and communities are given the spotlight they deserve.

MidBoss are an indie studio that promotes and makes inclusive video games, such as 2064: Read Only Memories, and the upcoming sequel, Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER.

Through the use of Twitch, MidBoss’ Summer of Pride 2020 event will feature streamers playing queer-positive games and raising money for LGBT+ charities, such as Trans Lifeline, Trevor Project and GaymerX via TILTIFY. There will be a number of LGBT+ streamers that you can watch, including Brandon Stennis, Rainbow Arcade, and winner of season 2 of “The Boulet Brothers’ DRAGULA“, Biqtch Pudding. All of this will be available via Midboss’ Twitch channel, so do be sure to check that out.

What’s more, a permanent storefront for queer-positive games curated by MidBoss will launch in June in partnership with Chrono.gg, even offering discounts of up to 80% off. Queer positive games like Gone Home, 2064: Read Only Memories and Tacoma will be available to purchase. Sales will be available via the Chrono.gg storefront once it launches, the Nintendo Switch eShop from June 20-30 and Steam from June 9-25.

MidBoss’ reason for celebrating with Summer of Pride 2020 is a simple one. As Cade Peterson, the CEO of MidBoss states, “we want everyone experience the range of diversity bubbling just below the surface of gaming, whether that’s by getting hands-on with the games or watching a beautiful array of diverse streamers find pieces of themselves in the works of queer developers.” They continued, “spotlighting creators and media with positive LGBTQ+ representation in characters and storylines saves lives by showing queer youths they are not alone.”

More importantly, have a great Pride!
