Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds is Available to Pre-Purchase on the Nintendo Switch
Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds has been a marvel for those out there who wanted a game that’s been described by a few fans as being ‘Fallout, but in space.’ It was well-received by most, receiving an overall score of 82 on Metacritic. That’s pretty decent, and we’re certain that Outer Worlds is going to do even better on the Nintendo Switch.
The Outer Worlds is a single-player RPG game, putting you in the shoes of a protagonist who ends up lost in transit on a colonist ship in one of the far corners of the galaxy. Decades later, you wake up in the middle of a deep, tyrannical conspiracy that threatens to destroy the Halcyon colony. It’s up to you with how you’ll handle everything, but thankfully you won’t be alone: you’ll have some companions to fight the good fight right alongside you. But be careful, how you act changes how the story unfolds! So think before you shoot.
If that summary is enough to get you interested, then you’re in luck! Obsidian Entertainment, Virtuos Games and Private Division, have announced that The Outer Worlds is now available on for pre-purchase on the Nintendo Switch through the Nintendo eShop.
As for us, The Outer Worlds was our Game of the Year last year. Thanks to having incredible characters like Pavarti, and how the game has affected the LGBT+ community, we’re stoked to get the chance to play it on the Nintendo Switch this year.
