The voice of Leon Kennedy, Paul Haddad, has passed away at age 56

It’s a sad day for video game fans, as another beloved voice actor has passed away. Paul Haddad, most known for voicing Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil 2, died earlier today at age 56.

News of his death was confirmed by Invader Studios in a comment which states: “Paul Haddad, our dear friend and an icon among the Resident Evil community, has passed away recently,” said Invader on Twitter. “We’ve been truly honored to have the chance to meet and work with such a great man and a brilliant professional that He was. Rest in Peace Paul. You will live forever in our hearts.”

Haddad recently worked with Invader Studios, voicing the role of “Cleaner” in their Resident Evil inspired game, Daymare: 1998. His other video game credit is a part in Hype: The Time Quest.

Paul also appeared in numerous television shows, voicing characters in Rupert, Wish Kid, The Adventures of Tintin, Monster Force and X-Men: The Animated Series.
