Tetsuya Nomura has yet to decide how many parts FF7R will have

As far as we’re concerned, Tetsuya Nomura has done, a frankly excellent job with FF7R and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the series has in store with the other parts of FF7R.

Well thanks to VG24/7, we may have some idea of the direction Nomura, as well as Yoshinori Kitase, have planned for FF7R. In the article, a translator with the @aitaikimochi, broke down quotes from the Japanese book, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Ultimania.

As you can see above, Kitase and Nomura both have a general idea on how the story will play out, but there hasn’t been a confirmation on how many parts the FF7R will have. We have also speculated on the Gayming Magazine podcast that there will be three parts altogether, but as you can see from the post above, that really is just guesswork at this moment in time.

As the translator continues to say in the thread, Nomura also commented on when the other parts of FF7R will be ready to drop. “Depends on how many parts the overall story will be. If we divide the story into large parts, it’ll take longer to make. If we divide it into more detailed smaller sections, then developing it will be faster. I hope to release the next one ASAP.”

Regardless of when the next part is coming out, we’re super pumped to see what Tetsuya Nomura and Yoshinori Kitase have in store.
