Stardew Valley will add banana trees in a new update

Stardew Valley’s Eric Barone is still adding to the game, even in the year 2020, and good lord, are we grateful! This update’s release date has yet to be revealed, but what we do know is that Stardew Valley will be getting some banana trees coming its way (via NintendoLife).

It may not be the most exciting addition to a video game, but considering how a large majority of us have spent our times playing Animal Crossing and harvesting every fruit tree we could find, banana trees in Stardew Valley is still a pretty ‘spicy’ thing to use to shake up your farm every now and then.

The decision to include bananas was thanks to Barone tweeting out a poll about what sort of tree would be included in the next update for Stardew Valley. The choices were avocado, mango, passionfruit, and banana, with mango coming just second to banana. While there’s no real confirmation, Barone did acknowledge that mango was a runner-up, so perhaps that might be the next tree to be included?

There’s been no confirmation when the next date will be for the 1.5 update, but if it’s as promising as the 1.4 update, then we’re certain we’re all going to enjoy it, no matter when it releases.
