A new Stardew Valley update is coming

A new Stardew Valley update? Already? Hasn’t the game already had one a few months ago?

These are all valid questions and the answer to all three of them is ‘yes.’ But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be excited, especially considering all the great things that the previous update brought. New, interactive scenes between your farmer and your spouse, an update for the mine and so much more.

With so much already added, you’ve got to wonder what else creator ConcernedApe, aka Eric Barone, has up his sleeve. For now, we’ve no real idea, as when Barone took to Twitter, he only mentioned that another update, 1.5, is in the works.

Barone has always been very hands-on when it comes to Stardew Valley, having created the farming simulator all by himself when the game first launched. So we’re excited to see what this next free update could bring to this already amazing game.

However, Stardew Valley isn’t just the only thing that’s on Barone’s mind. Two other projects of his have been detailed, with one tying into Stardew Valley some way, whilst the other has been described as a non-farming game that’s set in the world of Stardew Valley.

Though, as Barone himself has said, don’t get too excited. These projects are still being developed, and the hype is enough to put pressure on anyone. That won’t stop people, of course, but alternatively, maybe the new Stardew Valley update will keep excited fans preoccupied.
