Monster Prom moves the dance’s venue to Nintendo Switch this May
High school prom was either one of the best nights of your life, or one of the most stressful nights of your life (if you were a vapid, self-centered teen). If you’ve ever wanted to relive the experience in the video game world, now is your chance as Beautiful Glitch and Those Awesome Guys will release Monster Prom to Nintendo Switch next month. And it’s just the ghoulish, celebratory treat for this time of the year.
Welcome to Spooky High, where its latest batch of monster senior students are gearing up for the biggest dance of the year. Monster Prom sees you take on the role as one of four playable characters tasked with romancing one of six other characters – all designed after classic movie villains. In the three weeks leading up to prom, you must convince your date to fall in love with you – or your life will be ruined forever. Obviously.
Inside Monster Prom, you’ll find mini-games and puzzles, an in-game shop, multiple endings and a romance drama to set the digital world on fire. Plus, voice-over work from some of nerd world’s biggest stars!
Originally released to Steam in April 2018, this title will become available on Nintendo Switch as Monster Prom: XXL on 21 May 2020; with the “Second Term” DLC included in the purchase.
A special “Thank You” update is also available for current players on Steam.
