With Mario Odyssey as one of the best games on Switch, remakes of classics like Spyro and Crash released, plus Yooka-Laylee and A Hat in Time hitting nostalgia nerves, the 3D platformer is having something of a renaissance at the moment.
Enter Clive ‘N’ Wrench, a new title slated for the end of the year, that’s set to scratch a similar itch. The titular rabbit and monkey duo hop into a 1950s fridge (…sure) as they venture on a journey through space, time and whacky worlds.
The game promises a time-bending story, space-defying locations and a tight move set in this passion project from lead developer Rob Wass, Dinosaur Bytes Studio, set for release on Switch and PC.
“I’m really excited to be able to bring Clive ‘N’ Wrench to the platform I easily get the most requests for, not only that but on a cartridge too,” says Wass. “It’s a childhood dream come true, in more ways than one.”
