Skillsearch Salary & Satisfaction Survey shows that work/life balance is most important factor for games workers

Games industry recruiter Skillsearch just released their 6th annual Games and Interactive Salary and Satisfaction Survey results providing a snapshot of employment trends across the global games industry.

The biggest trend in this year’s survey shows that ‘work/life balance’ has risen to be, almost exclusively, the most important factor for people in their jobs, from Juniors to Leads and across the globe. ‘Work/life balance’ replaces both ‘Salary’ and ‘Exciting Projects’ from the top spots in 2019.

The Salary & Satisfaction Survey offers amazing insights both for job hunters and recruiters. The report contains loads of juicy information around what job hunters are looking for most from their employer, the reasons people turned a job offer in 2019 and average salary information for job hunters to make sure they’re getting a good deal!
