Popular Steam title House Flipper now on PS4 and XBox

Dozens of home renovation series air on DIY networks across the globe. The one with the cute, twin brothers seems to be the most popular; not that I’m surprised. Due to the infatuation with watching an abandoned or lackluster house being remodeled into something beautiful, it was only inevitable that a video game would spawn the same concept in the digital world. If you haven’t heard of it yet, let me introduce you to House Flipper.

Developed by Empyrean and published by Frozen District and PlayWay S.A., House Flipper was originally released in May 2018 and distributed solely to online platform Steam. Due to all the positive reviews, extremely high Steam sales, and the notion that this game had inspired other simulator games to see the light of day, Sony has scooped up Empyrean’s flagship game and released it to PS4 and Xbox.

“House Flipper is a unique chance to become a one-man renovation crew. Buy, repair and remodel devastated houses. Give them a second life and sell them at a profit! What you’ve got at your disposal is a set of tools and parts. Use them to hammer, drill, nail and screw things together, and do whatever is necessary to fit, fix or clean up stuff,” states the game’s Steam page.
