New Pokemon Sleep merchandise line wants you to nap with pocket cuteness
Last May, Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara announced a new mobile app called Pokemon Sleep. While nearly every aspect of the game is still under wraps, Ishihara confirmed that the game will track the amount of hours you sleep with an acceleromoter; much in the same way Pokemon Go tracks your steps with an external GPS. Promising to turn sleep into a new form of entertainment, Pokemon Sleep will become available on Android and iOS sometime in 2020.
The release of Pokemon Sleep may be on the horizon, as online retailer Merchoid has unveiled the official merchandise line for the upcoming game. The line includes brand new t-shirts, hoodies, sleep masks, alarm clocks and night-lights featuring Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Eevee and Charmander. Of course, every item is meant to hype Pokemon Sleep while making your own napping experience filled with pocket monster cuteness.
Some of it is a little overpriced ($61 for a hoodie?!), but the Pikachu alarm clock is right up my alley!
Pokemon Sleep is currently in development by Select Button Studio and Niantic. Download it soon in 2020!
