Pokemon Nintendo Direct airs tomorrow
The Pokemon Nintendo Direct airs tomorrow, not so soon after the release of two of the more controversial entries to the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Sword and Shield. It’s indeed a little concerning if you’re expecting another Pokemon game announcement, but we highly doubt that’s the case.
That’s not to say Pokemon Sword and Shield won’t be acknowledged. There may be an update announcement for the game hidden in there somewhere, but it’s more likely that we’ll be getting news about a few apps that have been mentioned before, such as Pokemon Home and maybe even Pokemon Sleep.
Pokemon Home is exactly what it sounds like, a place where all your Pokemon are stored together. Almost like a Pokemon bank. With this cloud-based app, you’ll be able to swap Pokemon between friends and others worldwide. Sounds pretty nifty, doesn’t it?
Then there’s Pokemon Sleep, an app that’s meant to track your sleeping patterns but also Pokemon are there? It’s meant to reward you with Pokemon while you sleep, which should be enough of an incentive for anyone to start taking extra naps.
It may seem silly, but the wellness of the player has always been at the forefront of the Pokemon Company’s mind if you look at its introduction of Pokemon Go.
We’re not sure what this Pokemon Nintendo Direct has in store for us, but we’re excited all the same.
