Junkrat’s Rip-Tire from Overwatch just got very real thanks to a British inventor
If you’re like me, a complete scrub at Overwatch, you’ll know that Junkrat’s Rip-Tire is one of the most annoying ultimate’s in the game. It’s loud, unwieldy and if you’re a lone Mercy you’re almost guaranteed to get it straight in the face. Because that’s just what Junkrat mains do.
Now if you were annoyed at it existing in-game, you’re going to hate this recent bit of news. Thanks to Colin Furze, a famous British inventor with over 8.5 million subscribers on YouTube, the iconic weapon from Junkrat is now possible to wield in real life.
Furze plans to show off three videos of how he created the tire. You can watch the first below.
Slogging away in shed for weeks, Furze has found a way to create a fast-moving tire using chainsaws, huge spikes, remote control devices, and even a motorbike. What makes it even better is that he’s done all of this while remaining faithful to the original design of Junkrat’s rip-tire.
It looks pretty amazing, doesn’t it? We can’t wait for the next two videos to show us just how deadly, but amazing, the tire can be.
