Chorus introduces Pan and reveals more about idols in newest update
Everything we know about Chorus just makes us want to play it more. Not only does is it a videogame musical with Laura Bailey as the main lead, as well as David Gaider as creative director, but there will be romance, adventure, mystery, and even gods. Or idols, as they are known in the game.
But there’s more to learn, as can be seen with the newest update on the game’s Fig page. In this update, labeled Update 2, we are introduced to Pan through a letter they’ve sent to an unnamed individual.
In this letter, Pan speaks about the world that we’ll be exploring in Chorus. In this world, both science and magic live together. However, like many things out of the ordinary, if the world of fantasy was to collide with what we know then the consequences would be drastic. As such, the hiding of ‘idols’ is vital for “their continued existence.”

If we didn’t know that we’d have to be sneaky about being a living idol ourselves now that our deceased vocalist died and passed along their powers, we do now. At least, as sneaky as a musical videogame can allow.
The letter from Pan also revealed more about some of the idols we may or may not be seeing in Chorus. In the letter it states: “far too many Idols have been lost to death over the ages: Zeus, Ares, Demeter… even Hades, our Lord of Death himself.” While others have died, some have simply vanished.
Some, such as Athena, Persephone and Apollo do look to be making an appearance. What part they’ll play in Chorus remains to be seen.
As for Chorus, it is currently at 20% of its goal. So, if you want to help fund this game, we suggest going over to their Fig page and donating.
