Coming Soon

The Witcher Gwent game is coming to iOS

The Witcher Gwent game is coming to iOS and we couldn’t be more excited.

Gwent was one of the best things about The Witcher 3. In fact, it became such a significant part of the game that there have been several memes and videos dedicated to the game online.

Also, it never stops being funny to say “I weep for ye lost husband, but do ya want to play a game of Gwent?”

To those who aren’t sure what Gwent is about or never participated in the game in the Witcher 3, Gwent is a card game where players must use three rows and put down cards into each row conferring to the type of the card. At the end of each round, the one with the highest score wins.

Since the standalone game’s official announcement back during E3 2016, Gwent has steadily improved over time, introducing new cards and expansions such as The Crimson Curse.

It sounds right up the alley of other card game enthusiasts from Hearthstone and MtG:A, doesn’t it?

Now however, you can play the standalone game of Gwent no matter where you are. Well, unless you’ve got an Android. Then you’ll have to wait, as there’s no current date for when the game will appear on Android smartphones and devices.

As for iOS devices, thanks to Eurogamer, we know that you’ll need an iPhone 6S or newer to run it, an iPad Mini 4 or newer, iPad 5th generation or newer, iPad Air 2 or newer, or any iPad Pro in order to play.

Gwent, the standalone game, will officially release on iOS devices on the 29th of November. Will you be getting it?
