The Best Selling Games of June 2019 Are…

Clearly, I picked the wrong job. Video games are making bank!

While many media markets are on a decline due to new technology and at-home services, the video game market is still going strong. Month to month sales totals may vary due to anticipated releases and download-only titles, but sources are reporting that console games alone generated $959,000,000 in sales in June 2019.

According to GameSpot and VentureBeat, these are the best selling games of June 2019.

1. Super Mario Maker 2
2. Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled
3. Mortal Kombat 11
4. Grand Theft Auto V
5. Minecraft
6. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
7. Spider-Man
8. NBA 2K19
9. Mario Kart 8
10. Days Gone

It’s interesting to see a few non-2019 releases on the list, such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Spider-Man; as well as games that are thriving thanks to remakes and expansion packs.

With no huge releases coming in July, except maybe the new Fire Emblem, it stands to reason that the chart may remain mostly the same next month.
