Dead by Daylight Chapter 15 releases today
Dead by Daylight is known as the asymmetrical horror game from Behavior Interactive. Here at Gayming Magazine, it’s also known as the one horror game that Aimee won’t shut up about, so no doubt you’ll not at all be surprised to hear that she’s excited Dead by Daylight Chapter 15 released today.
Behavior Interactive usually releases new chapters two weeks after the launch of the new killer, survivor, and map on the player test base, however Chapter 15 has been a little different. While the announcement of these new additions to the game was met positively, Behavior also listed a number of things that were going to be changed about the game. Namely toolboxes and the sabotaging of the hooks system.
Toolboxes, an add-on for survivors, are incredibly helpful at getting generators done. With this new change, they are still useful but do not have the same durability as before. Instead of the toolboxes lasting for two or more generators, they get used up quickly. On the other hand, they do add more progress to generators getting done even faster.
There’s also the improvement of hooks. Whereas before you needed a toolbox or a perk to get rid of the hooks, and would often take quite a bit of time to do, you can remove hooks almost instantly now. Whether that’ll stay in the future remains to be seen, as it takes a lot of messing around for the game to be balanced.
With this new chapter of Dead by Daylight now released, it’s only a matter of time before we find out whether these new changes will breathe new life into the game and its community.
