Latinx in Gaming’s “CONEXIÓN: Level Up Your Career” kicks off June 23rd
Latinx in Gaming, a nonprofit uplifting Latine voices across the global games industry, is back with its fourth annual CONEXIÓN, a free virtual professional development event running from Monday, June 23 to Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Whether you’re a fresh-faced intern breaking into games or a seasoned pro eyeing leadership roles, CONEXIÓN offers a rich lineup of career-boosting sessions tailored to all experience levels. Expect resume reviews, portfolio critiques, mock interviews, and one-on-one mentorship with industry experts.
Panels will explore key job-seeking strategies, followed by smaller breakout sessions for specific disciplines. These are perfect for those wanting to connect, ask questions, and get focused advice. International participants can also benefit from a special immigration Q&A with Jeptha Evans, a legal expert in work visas and sponsorships.
“CONEXIÓN is our way of contributing to helping those both inside and outside of our community that are currently job searching,” says Elaine Gómez, President & Co-Founder of Latinx in Gaming. “Whether Latinx or not, we aim to provide the best possible resources to help the next generation of gaming professionals succeed. This is what community looks like to us and how we create a domino effect to change our industry for the better.”

Volunteer and membership opportunities are also available for those wanting to help lift up the next wave of talent. Find out more and apply to volunteer here.
