Gayming LIVE goes Online for 2022
Gayming LIVE is now going fully Online for 2022 across the weekend of September 9, 10 and 11.
Gayming LIVE was due to be held in Brooklyn this July, but the difficult decision has been taken to pivot this into a fully virtual experience.
The decision is a result of a couple of important factors. Primarily this is an issue of safety and a wish to protect our community, our staff and our sponsors. While the world is reopening in many ways, and certain COVID restrictions and guidance have been relaxed, there have been many reports of COVID spread resulting from large-scale events and conventions. The New York City area is also currently experiencing significantly high numbers of COVID cases. Gray Jones Media aims to deliver a wonderful experience for all who wish to attend while ensuring our community’s safety.
An additional factor is our ability to deliver high impact virtual events. The Gayming Awards, recently held in the UK, saw a virtual audience of over 320,000 fans from around the world, solidifying the success and continuing popularity of virtual events. Hosting Gayming LIVE as a virtual event ensures unlimited access to those who wish to participate, regardless of their physical location.
While it’s incredibly sad news that we’re not going to meet up in Brooklyn this summer, our number one priority is always going to be the safety of our community. At a time where COVID numbers are rising in the New York City area and where there is rapid spread at large scale events, holding Gayming LIVE in person would be the wrong decision for all of us. I’m so excited about Gayming LIVE Online and all the awesome content we have lined up for you to enjoy. Plus, we’re making the world of Gayming even more accessible to those who couldn’t make the event in Brooklyn.

Gayming LIVE Online will be a completely virtual experience – complete with insightful panel discussions, incredible performances, an Indie Game Festival, a virtual marketplace, virtual meet & greets and much more to celebrate and entertain the Gayming community.
To allow time to effectively prepare, the event will move from its previously planned July date to September 9th, 10th and 11th.
For anyone who has purchased tickets to the 2022 event, refunds will be processed within 6 weeks and you will be emailed separately.
