Does Soda Dungeon 2 Have an LGBT Character?

Even if it doesn’t, it still looks kind of cool!

A sequel to 2015’s Soda Dungeon is on its way, according to Armor Games Studios. Earlier this week, the publisher announced that Soda Dungeon 2 is slated to release on an undetermined date in 2020. Developed by AN Productions and Poxpower, the free-to-play dungeon-crawler will be available on iOS, Android and Steam. I’ll keep you guys posted on when that official release date is announced. Until then, here’s something I noticed that was a bit interesting!

On the game’s Steam page, towards the bottom of the profile, a photo is featured showcasing five characters standing side-by-side with their weapons drawn, ready for battle. In the middle of the battle-line is a character holding a rainbow-shell shield along with a rainbow-scepter. Seeing how rainbow flags and accessories are kind of our thing, it makes me wonder if an LGBT character is included in Soda Dungeon 2. Plus, I mean, there’s also a ton of buff men wearing nothing but a loan cloth… so…

Soda Dungeon 2 finds its players building a tavern at the foot of a sprawling dungeon. Their tavern has soda on tap, and the delicious drink entices adventurers from around the world to venture into the dungeon in search of equipment and treasure that’s been locked away by a Dark Lord. What results is a classic turn-based war over the loot that will upgrade the tavern and unlock new buildings to secure an entire town. With everyone sugared up and energized, Soda Dungeon 2 looks to become the craziest construction site on Steam and mobile apps.

New features will include the ability to craft gear; progress through dungeons while you’re offline; in-app purchases; and the ability to transfer your game between Steam, Android and iOS.

Look for Soda Dungeon 2 in 2020.
