Bethesda’s PS5 title Deathloop to release in May
Bethesda’s newest title, Deathloop, looks slick and colorful and, even better, will release on the PS5 sooner than you think! Let’s just say if you’ve got a birthday in May, then this game will be just the thing to treat yourself with.
Deathloop has been revealed to be released on May 21st. It was speculated through a PlayStation Store pre-order listing that the game would come out on this date, but it’s now been officially confirmed by via a launch date reveal trailer that was published yesterday. Just like the game itself, it looks incredible.
Releasing on the PC, as well as the PS5, Deathloop is developed by Arkane, the folks behind huge hits like the Dishonored series. In the single-player game you’ll play as Colt, someone who has just washed up on the island of Blackreef – a place that’s trapped in a timeloop that resets after each day. Colt has to take out 8 targets to try and stop the loop, but is hunted each and every step by assassin Julianna.
It isn’t just a single-player experience, however. Players can choose to play as Julianna and invade other people’s games in order to track their Colt down and put a stop to his meddling. It sounds like a thrilling mix of Dark Souls and Dishonored to us!
