Spider-Man PS4 gets a Deep Fakes Makeover
If there’s one thing that I didn’t expect to get so big in 2020, it’s deep fakes. Those who of you who are blessed and completely ignorant of what those are, it’s when a media image, audio or video is transformed into something that is looks and sounds real, but is in fact, fake. Some are strangely interesting to watch, including these new Spider-Man PS4 deep fakes that have appeared online.
Created by YouTuber and modder, BabyZone, this Spider-Man deep fake takes both old and new actors, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland, and puts their faces on the Peter Parker we know and love from the PS4 Spider-Man game.
It’s not just Peter who gets a deep fakes makeover either, but Kirsten Dunst also makes an appearance as Mary Jane (MJ) which makes for a strange, but kinda wonderful look.
The three Peters have always been a hot discussion among fans, and for good reason. We’ve all got our favourite Spider-Man after all, so it’s oddly nice to see them together.
This isn’t the only deep fake from BabyZone, however. They’ve also created a re-imagining of Keanu Reeves in Ghost of Tsushima, as well as Tom Cruise.
